Outdoor Fun In and Around Sparta
I grew up playing on this 9 hole golf course located in the Bear Cove community, which is where I was raised. I used to sell lemonade at the Hole #3 tee box. Later I was a lifeguard at the little pool. It isn’t fancy but a great example of the charm of small town life. You’ll love it!
This is a gorgeous 18 hole golf course in White County (the county in which Sparta rests). It is situated above Center Hill Lake down the Smithville Highway. Rarely crowded, you’ll enjoy this high quality course in serenity.
Plus at least 15 other golf courses within 45 minutes of Sparta:
The Bear Trace, River Run Golf Course, Deer Creek Golf Course, Druid Hills Golf Club, Golden Eagle Golf Club, Belle Acres Golf Club, White Plains Golf Course, Ironwood Golf Course, Heatherhurst Golf Club (two 18-hole courses), Dorchester Golf Club, Stonehenge Golf Club, McMinnville Golf Club, Southern Hills Golf and Country Club, Mountain Ridge Golf Course, plus click here for more courses near Sparta.
Bill and I were married for almost 24 years and have always been most proud of our two boys, Cade and Cole. Both boys have worked hard with me on building new homes in Sparta since their father, our captain, passed. Cade attends Tennessee Technological University, just 20 minutes away, and is a member of their basketball team. Cole attends Motlow Community College and stays busy hunting, fishing, and playing sports of any kind. When we aren’t building new homes in Sparta, we are at Tech’s basketball games, at church, or out enjoying all that Sparta, TN has to offer.
